While the majority of outdoor rinks only recently opened following the frigid temperatures in early January, the unseasonably warm temperatures this week have contributed to their closure according to the City of Moose Jaw.

Moose Jaw broke a 93-year-old weather record on Tuesday, reaching 16 degrees and beating the 1931 record of 10.6 degrees.
