The University of Regina's latest Moose Jaw wastewater COVID-19 report for the week of Dec. 10 to 17 has brought some good news for the city.
After seeing a spike that brought COVID-19 omicron variant levels to moderately high in late October and early November, the levels of the virus have been on the decline.
Levels were moderate in mid-November and have steadily remained low since then. COVID-19 levels in Moose Jaw's wastewater have been at their lowest levels since late June and early July. There levels are based on the highest weekly omicron levels measured in Moose Jaw's wastewater in early 2022.
