It's shaping up to be a busy Father's Day weekend here in Moose Jaw. Here is a look at five things you can do this weekend:

1. Moose Jaw Shrine Club Children's Festival, Saturday

The Moose Jaw Shrine Club's Children's Festival is taking place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Wakamow Valley.

The festival includes facepainting, petting zoo, trolley tours of the valley, a magic show from 12:30 to 1 p.m., the Sask Reptile Show from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and live music.

Also on hand will be the Shrine Club Trikes, Joe's Place Cosplayers, the Farmer's Market, Bounce-A-Lot, Games of Chance, Thomas the Train and food and treats for the kids.

2. Swervin' Mini Indy Race for Recovery, Saturday

The Swervin' Mini Indy Race for Recovery is back at the Town N Country Mall on Saturday afternoon.

These Indy-style go-karts feature a student EV cahllenge to convert gas-powered carts to electric motors. Proceeds from the event will go to supporting the Canadian Mental Health Association.

3. Moose Jawg Charity Road Race, Saturday

Lace up your running shoes, the Moose Jawg Charity Road Race is taking place in downtown Moose Jaw on Saturday.

The runt run gets underway at 7:45 a.m. with the 5 and 10 km races beginning at 8 a.m. Proceeds from the event go towards the Moose Jaw Health Foundation.

4. Moose Jaw Public Library Summer Reading Club Launch, Saturday

Come on down to Crescent Park in front of the Moose Jaw Public Library on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. All ages are welcome.

There will be facepainting, magic shows, book giveaways, maker activities, outdoor games, treats and more.

5. Those Guys Car Club Bent Wrench Run Father's Day Show and Shine, Sunday

The ninth annual Those Guys Car Club Bent Wrench run Father's Day Show and Shine is taking place on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Wakamow Valley.

There is a cash entry of $20 to show your vehicle and it is free for spectators. Proceeds from the event will go towards Hunger in Moose Jaw.
