Aircraft from 15 Wings Moose Jaw will be conducting a flyby over the Moose Jaw Exhibition Convention Centre on Friday morning. 

Two CT-156 Harvard II planes from 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School will be doing the flyover at 11 a.m. The aircraft will fly no lower than 500 feet above the highest point of their route before resuming higher-flying altitudes for the remainder of the flight. 

The Rotary Clubs of Moose Jaw Wakamow, Moose Jaw and Assiniboia will be welcoming Rotarians from Northwest Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan for the Rotary International District 5550 Conference. 

The conference takes place on May 10 and 11 with the theme of “Hope and Mental Wellness.” It will include local and international speakers sharing their stories on the impact on hope and mental wellness. 

Also part of the event will be the House of ImaginAction, which showcases projects like the Shelter Box program supported by Rotary International as well as other Rotary initiatives in the community when it comes to literacy and mental health. 

Seven Rotary International Exchange Students from Venezuela, Brazil, Belgium, Thailand, Ukraine, Germany and Norway will be coming to Moose Jaw from their home clubs to share their experiences in Canada.
