A Gravelbourg teacher’s assistant was charged on Nov. 16 with sexual offences involving a male student. 

Gravelbourg RCMP received reports in September that a female teacher’s assistant at Ecole Gravelbourg School had allegedly committed offences involving a male teenage student at the school. 

Dannica Lowes of Moose Jaw has been charged after a lengthy investigation with sexual assault, sexual interference, luring a child, making sexually explicit material available to a child, invitation to sexual touching and possession of child pornography. 

She is scheduled to appear in Assiniboia court on Dec. 14. 

Saskatchewan RCMP are continuing to work to determine if there are additional victims. Saskatchewan’s RCMP’s General Investigation Section and the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) are assisting in the investigation.
