Moose Jaw's Joel Jordison came up short, losing 7-1 to Glenn Howard in Monday's final at the Myers Norris Penny Prairie Curling Classic in Portage La Prairie.

 

There one of the more well known curling foursome's in Moose Jaw, over the weekend they were making the big names take notice.

Moose Jaw's Joel Jordison put in an impressive effort at the Myers Norris Penny Prairie Curling Classic, eventually losing to Ontario's Glenn Howard in Monday's final.

Howard starting strong by scoring two in the first, but Jordison replied with one in the second.  Howard would score two more in the third and steal three in the 5th, beating Jordison 7-1 in five ends.

The Jordison rink would take home $8,000 for second, but more importantly turned heads of a lot of the curlings high profile names.   They posted wins over recognizable names such as Jeff Stoughton and Kerry Burtnyk; his only two losses were to Glenn Howard in the "A" event final and the championship game.
