Environment and Climate Change Canada has upgraded a severe thunderstorm watch to a warning for Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

Conditions are favourable to produce a severe thunderstorm that could be strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located near Caronport, moving east at 40 km/h.

A severe thunderstorm warning issued for the area of Marquis, Keeler, Tuxford and Buffalo Pound has ended.

Residents are being reminded that large hail can damage property and cause injuries. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, and break branches off trees. Heavy downpours of rain can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
