A 37-year-old Moose Jaw man is facing charges after a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in Regina on Thursday afternoon. 

Regina Police Service was called to an accident at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Park Street. Police had received information that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle. 

Police and EMS helped the female victim, who was taken to hospital with what is being described as non-life-threatening injuries. An initial investigation showed that the woman was struck by a truck, which then left the scene. 

On Thursday evening around 7:55 p.m., the police found the suspect vehicle parked at Cooksley Bay. Joseph Neustaeter of Moose Jaw is facing one count of failing to stop after an accident that resulted in bodily harm. 

Neustaeter will make his first appearance in provincial court on July 15.
