The 2024 Moose Jaw Premier’s Dinner comes to the Moose Jaw Events Centre this April 25.

The event is the second of five dinners occurring across the province, with the remaining three taking place in Saskatoon, Regina, and Prince Albert.

The event starts off with a reception held at 6 p.m., with the dinner beginning at 7 p.m. and running until 10 p.m.

The Premier’s Dinner is open for the public to attend, and Tim McLeod, Minister of Mental Health and Addictions encouraged the community to show their support.

“This is certainly a great opportunity for everybody, not only from Moose Jaw, but from the entire southwest part of the province to come out,” said Tim McLeod, Minister of Mental Health and Addictions. McLeod is the MLA for Moose Jaw North.

“It’s a great opportunity to converse with the local MLA’s, (and) with the other cabinet ministers that will be in attendance.”

Megan Patterson, Saskatchewan Party Wakamow candidate, hoped Moose Javians take the opportunity to attend and emphasized the value of being politically involved.

“I just want to encourage people to consider going out to the dinner. Politics and public policy are really important, and it has a huge impact on people’s lives,” said Patterson.

Tickets are available for purchase on the Saskatchewan Party website. Single tickets are available for $200, or $1,600 for a table of eight.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for $3,000 and will include not only a full table of eight, but sponsors will be recognized from the podium and in promotional material around the room.
