Nominations are now being taken for the Moose Jaw and District Chamber of Commerce Moose Jaw Business Excellence (MJBEX) awards. 

The MJBEX awards recognize the outstanding contributions of area businesses and business people in our community. 

Nominations are open to all businesses except Crown corporations and the City of Moose Jaw. 

Businesses can be nominated in the following categories: 

  • Agricultural and Agri-Business Excellence Award 
  • Business Innovation Award 
  • Business Leader of the Year 
  • Community Involvement Award 
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award 
  • Hell Yeah Award 
  • Impact Award (Non-profit) 
  • Marketing Award 
  • New Business Venture  
  • People’s Choice Award 
  • Pillar of the Community Award 
  • Service Excellence Award 
  • Young Entrepreneur Award 

Nominees can submit their own nominations or can be nominated by a third party. Nominees must agree to all third-party nominations. 

Businesses can be nominated for a maximum of two categories. The deadline for nominations is March 17. Independent judges will look over the nominees in March and choose the winners. 

The winners will be announced at the MJBEX Awards Banquet on April 24 at 5 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
