Moose Jaw Public Library (MJPL) and the Canadian Space Agency have arranged a presentation by astronaut Jeremy Hansen to occur February 9.

The event will be presented in-person to Prairie South School Division and Holy Trinity Catholic School Division students. It will offer a unique opportunity to learn about the first crewed test flight of the Orion spacecraft from the man who will become the first Canadian to ever venture to the Moon.

Speaking about the livestream event, MJPL Public Service and Social Media Clerk Naomi Setter says, "Anybody is welcome to attend" and that, "There will be an opportunity for anybody who is viewing the livestream to ask questions."

The Moose Jaw Public library will host the livestream of the event in the Performing Arts Theatre, which is free of charge and open to the public.
