Moose Jaw Police responded to 38 calls for service.

9:06 am – 900 Block Hall St W – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight an unlocked vehicle was entered. The vehicle’s registration and an auxiliary cord were taken. There was no damage to the vehicle, and the incident was reported for information purposes.

10:12 am – 200 Block Stadacona St W – Theft Under – Sometime overnight some Christmas decorations were taken. The loss is estimated at $100, and this was reported for informational purposes.

10:21 am – 0 Block Stadacona St W – Suspended Driver – During a routine traffic patrol, police stopped a driver who was suspended. The vehicle was seized for 30 days.

11:09 am – Four warrants were issued for subjects who failed to attend court.

11:21 am – 1000 Block Henleaze Ave – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight an unlocked vehicle was entered with miscellaneous items taken. The loss is estimated at $50, and the incident was reported for informational purposes.

11:34 am - 700 Block Main St N – Theft from Vehicle – An owner’s manual and registration were stolen from an unlocked vehicle, and this was reported for informational purposes.

11:49 am – 800 Block 4th Ave SW – Assistance to Sick Person – Police received a call about a person who may be in need of medical assistance. The subject was located and taken up to the hospital at their request.

12:34 pm – 1100 Block Elgin Ave – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight an unlocked vehicle was entered. Some change and a pack of cigarettes were taken, and there was some damage to the hood of the vehicle. Police are still investigating and intend to speak to the complainant and view the damage.

1:33 pm – 600 Block Lillooet St W – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime during the morning a wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The loss is estimated at $250. The credit cards were cancelled, and this was reported for information purposes.

1:39 pm – 300 Block North Service Rd – Mischief – A subject threw a rock at a vehicle. Police are still investigating to obtain a statement.

1:52 pm – 900 Block Ominica St E – Hit and Run – A hit and run to a vehicle caused damage to the driver’s side front and back doors. The damage is estimated at $300 and SGI documents were filled out.

2:18 pm – Assist to Locate – A subject was located in fine health and left in the care of a sober friend.

3:19 pm – 1000 Block Connaught Ave – Theft from Vehicle – A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle, and this was reported for information purposes.

3:53 pm – 800 Block Athabasca St E – Cigarettes were stolen from a store. Police are investigating to obtain video surveillance.

4:14 pm – 100 Block High St E – MVA with Injuries – There was a two vehicle accident with one injury. The damage is estimated at $30,000, and one driver was charged with unsafe backing.

4:53 pm – 1200 Block 11th Ave SW – Assist to Locate – The subject was located, brought to the hospital, and left in their care.

6:22 pm – 1000 Block Willow Ave – Mischief – A complainant reported mischief to a vehicle with a suspect. Police took a statement and the suspect was charged.

8:06 pm – 400 Block Langdon Cr – Theft – An iPhone 8 was stolen and police followed up with some possible leads. Police are still investigating.

10:26 pm – 100 Block Iroquois St W – Theft of Auto – Sometime between 4pm to 10pm a vehicle was stolen, SK 515 JPF, yellow 2007 Pontiac Torrent. A stolen auto form was signed and the vehicle was added to the database. Police continue to investigate.

12:35 am – 600 Block Coteau St W – Dispute – This involved two parties and was over prior to police arrival. No further police action was required.

1:00 am – 800 Block Fairford St E – Assault – A subject was assaulted, receiving minor injuries, and police are still investigating for the subject to consider their options and provide a statement.

1:09 am – 700 Block Hall St W – Assistance – A dispute resulted in a subject not having a place to stay while waiting for family from outside of Moose Jaw to arrive. Police attended, collected property, and brought the subject back to MJPS to wait for family.

Police responded to ten 911 calls.
Police assisted one other police agency.
