Police and Fire Report for August 4-5

Moose Jaw Police responded to 48 calls for service.  

7:37 am – Unwanted Guest – The subject was located and sent on their way. 

8:33 am – Hit & Run – This resulted in approximately $1500 of damage. A file number was provided. 

9:02 am – Suspicious Person – The individual was located and was doing nothing suspicious. 

9:09 am – Wellbeing Check – The subject was located and left in the care of a friend. 

9:25 am – MVA – This involved two vehicles, no injuries, and approximately $4,000 of damage. 

12:09 pm – MVA – A two vehicle accident resulted in no injuries, and one ticket was issued. 

5:02 pm – Dispute – A dispute took place between two people. The individuals separated for the night. 

10:12 pm – Dispute – A dispute between two people was mediated. 

10:36 pm – Dispute – A dispute occurred between two people, and advice was given. 

11:23 pm – Fire Call – A garbage can was on fire. This resulted in approximately $500 of damage and is still under investigation. 

11:54 pm – Fire Call – A garbage can was on fire, resulting in approximately $500 of damage. This is still under investigation. 

1:02 am – Dispute – A dispute between a person and a business was mediated. 

1:46 am – Suspicious Person – A person complained of being chased by an unknown person.  No one was located in the area.  The person was given a safe ride home. 

5:28 am – Train Collision – Police and Fire assisted with a fire and evacuation of the area.
