Prairie South School Division approved its 2023 - 2024 budget during this week's board meeting.

Revenues came in at $99,839,409 with expenses totalling $95,907,777. Included in the revenue total were grants listed at $93,415,524. For 2022 - 2023 revenues were at $99,308,306 with expenses totalling $95,809,739.

Capital purchases for 2023 - 2024 are pegged at $11,987,990.

Prairie South School Division is expecting to see a deficit of $3,788,297 in 2023 - 2024.

The division is hoping to receive additional funding from the province following an announcement this week by the Moe government.
