Quality Inn and Suites is giving back.

Lisa Schenher, Sales Manager for Quality Inn & Suites Moose Jaw was inspired by an online auction happening in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, raising money for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. The fundraiser was spearheaded by her friend Linda Rudachyk who has been an advocate and champion for children and families locally, provincially, and nationally.  Lisa reached out to Linda so the team at Quality Inn could donate to the auction, but they wanted to do even more to help.

Schenher says “The beautiful thing of having a hotel independently owned by some wonderful ownership and managed by Andreas Raucher. We get to do things differently, we're able to be involved and give to different causes, like The Hospital Foundation, The Military Family Resource Center, Riverside Mission and humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. It just makes your job that much better when you're able to give back.”

The Quality Inn is fundraising in a few different ways.  Anyone can go to The Quality Inn Moose Jaw and make a donation for the chance to win some great prizes like Moose Jaw Co-op Gas Cards, Street Steakhouse Gift Cards and more.  Also, guests of the hotel with their stay at The Quality Inn can add a donation to help those in the Ukraine. Schenher shared "so many people want to help and they just aren't sure how to help, so we're making it as easy as possible for them."

All money raised will be split between Nashi, Our Children and MCC. These organizations are all directly working on the ground in Ukraine for humanitarian efforts.

Schenher adds "it's terrible what is happening in the Ukraine right now, and we want to thank everyone who has made a donation so far to help the people of the Ukraine"
