The Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw is once again hosting their ‘A Christmas Long Ago’ event on December 9th and 16th, with sessions on both days at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale starting Friday, November 24th.

“A Christmas Long Ago is to learn about 1910 settler life, and in particular about family traditions during the holiday season. You get to learn what kind of gifts were given, make an old-fashioned craft, there’s old-fashioned toys you can play with,” said Alexis Jones, Programs & Volunteer Coordinator with the WDM in Moose Jaw.

“Tickets must be purchased in advance, and there’s about 30 spots per session.”

Prices for non-members are $15.50 for adults and $12.50 for youth, and for members are $12.50 for adults and $9.50 for youth. Preschoolers are free.

Call the museum for more information on tickets at 306-693-5989 or visit them in person.
