If you're looking for something to do this weekend, and want to get out and show your support for your hometown Moose Jaw Warriors...well you're in luck as they are back at the Hangar on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. to take on the 13-0 Red Deer Rebels. They have some work to do on Friday though, as they travel to Prince Albert to take on the Raiders. Voice of the Warriors, James Gallo will have all the coverage for you on Country 100. 

Also in action this weekend at the Moose Jaw Events Centre is the Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors for a pair of games. On Saturday, they welcome the Saskatoon Contacts and then Sunday the Warman Wildcats make the trip down - both games start at 1:30 p.m. The Warriors come into this weekend with a 4-5-0-2 record and sit in eighth place in the league standings. 

In the senior boys' high school volleyball semi-final action on Thursday Vanier took down Cornerstone in 5 sets and Assiniboia beat Central in 4 to advance to the finals on Tuesday at Sask PolyTech. Over to the girls, Peacock was winners over Vanier in 5 sets and Central took down Briercrest in 4 with both winners earning a spot in finals on Tuesday at Sask PolyTech. 

In the NHL on Thursday, Ottawa lost to Vegas 5-4, Winnipeg snuck out the 3-2 overtime win against Montreal at home, New Jersey took down Edmonton 4-3, Calgary lost their third straight 4-1 to Nashville, and Vancouver beat up on the Ducks 8-5. 

And the Houston Astros took a 3-2 lead in the World Series after a 3-2 win in Philadelphia on Thursday night. Game six goes on Saturday night.
