It was a huge weekend for the Moose Jaw Warriors as they swept their two-game home stand over the weekend. Atley Calvert and Lynden Lakovic each scored in the third period as the Warriors downed Prince Albert 3-1 on Friday night at the Moose Jaw Events Centre, setting up a key matchup against the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday night. The Warriors would double up the Rebels 6-3 to move past Red Deer in the Eastern Conference standings and sit in a tie with Medicine Hat for second place. The Warriors are back in action on Tuesday at 7 pm at the Moose Jaw Events Centre when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Winmar AAA Warriors are on a bit of a break but return to action on Thursday night when they host the Regina Pat Canadians at 7 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.

Mike McEwen's rink will be representing Saskatchewan at the Montana's Brier from March 1 to 10 at the Brandt Centre in Regina. McEwen defeated the Ryaln Kleiter rink in the SaskTel Tankard final 7-3 on Sunday.

Over to the National Lacrosse League, Mike Triolo scored the game-winning goal against his former team at the Saskatchewan Rush defeated the Panther City Lacrosse Club 10-9 on Saturday night in Saskatoon. 

And finally, the NHL are coming off their all-star break. There are two games tonight with the Toronto Maples Leafs being the only Canadian team in action as they take on the New York Islanders.
