It was a weekend split for the Moose Jaw Warriors against their Trans Canada rival - the Regina Pats. On Friday night, the Warriors were able to roll to a 9-5 win in front of a sold-out Brandt Centre. Then on Saturday, it was Regina returning the favour in front of a packed Moose Jaw Events Centre with a 7-3 win. 

The Warriors will get set for their final three games, with a trip to Winnipeg on Wednesday, then up to Prince Albert on Friday, and then will finish the regular season at home on Saturday against the Blades.

The Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championships kick off on Monday at the Moose Jaw Curling Centre. The event will feature Moose Jaw's own Marie Wright, as a third on Saskatchewan 1.  The first draw is set for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, with Wright and Sask 1 taking on Northern Ontario. Moose Jaw's U13 A Carpet One Mavericks 2 are west division champions, as they took down the Western Prairie on Friday 4-3 in overtime to advance to the league final. They will play either the Parkland Fire or Mavericks #1 in the final. Those two teams meet for Game 2 on Monday in Melville with the Fire leading 1-0 in that series. 

Speaking of the Carpet One Mavericks #1 they brought home gold, after winning the Saskatoon March Ice tournament this past weekend. 

The Toronto Blue Jays were shut out on Sunday 1-0 by Tampa Bay in spring training action. 

In the NHL on Sunday night, Winnipeg was shut out by St. Louis 3-0, and Vancouver edged out the Ducks 2-1. 

And the Saskatchewan Rush fell 11-6 to the Calgary Roughnecks on Friday.
