The Moose Jaw Warriors are looking to get into the win column tonight at the Memorial Cup in Saginaw Michigan. After dropping the opener 5-4 to the host Saginaw Spirit, the Warriors now face the Ontario Hockey League Champion London Knights. Puck drop is 5:30 and you can catch all of the action live on Country 100 with the Voice of the Warriors James Gallo.

It was opening weekend in the Western Canadian Baseball League and the Moose Jaw Miller Express. Moose Jaw opened the season in Weyburn on Friday night with a 5-3 win. The Miller Express had their home opener on Saturday at Ross Wells Park as part of a two-game weekend set with Medicine Hat. Moose Jaw won game one on Saturday 14-8 but Medicine Hat picked up the split on Sunday 7-4. The Miller Express are back in action on Wednesday night when they head to Brooks.

In Rambler Park men's fastball action, the Moose Jaw Giants were in Regina on Friday night agains tthe Touchwood Agency Tribal Council, picking up a 19-1 win.

Moose Jaw's Kenzie Woods recently brought home the bronze medal at Judo nationals. Woods is ranked seventh in Canada Cadet Judo.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders wrapped up their CFL pre-season with a 28-27 win over the Edmonton Elks

In Major League Baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays dropped a three-game weekend set against the Detriot Tigers.

And in NHL playoff action over the weekend, the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers are tied one game a piece, while the Dallas Stars picked up a 3-1 win on Saturday to tie that series up at one.
