The Moose Jaw Warriors doubled up on the Raiders in Prince Albert on Saturday by a score of 6-3. Martin Rysavy had a hat trick for the Warriors. Ethan Semeniuk, Lynden Lakovic, and Atley Calvert also scored for Moose Jaw, who now sit in third spot in the Eastern Conference standings. Jackson Unger made a career-high 52 saves to backstop the Warriors to the win on Saturday. He leads the WHL with 716 saves this season. Warriors captain Denton Mateychuk extended his point streak to a WHL-high 18 games with an assist in the third period. On Friday, Moose Jaw dropped a 6-3 decision to Swift Current at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. The two teams are back in action tomorrow night at the Hangar.  You can catch all the action on Country 100, with the pregame show starting at 6:40 p.m.

The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors lost 7-3 in Prince Albert on Saturday. The AAA Warriors return to the ice tomorrow night in Saskatoon.

A pair of Canadian teams were in action in the NHL last night. Edmonton beat Anaheim 8-2, Connor McDavid had a goal and four assists. Winnipeg's win streak was halted at five games with a 3-2 loss in Nashville.

In high school volleyball action, Central placed fourth in the 4A boys provincials falling to host Melfort two sets to none in the 3rd place game. Vanier lost out in the quarter-finals.

In 2A action, Assiniboia brought home the silver medal at provincials, after falling two sets to none against host Esterhazy in the championship final 

Cornerstone Christian School finished in fourth spot in the 2A boys provincials losing two sets to none in the 3rd place game against Ponteix.

In 1A provincial play, host Rouleau brought home the gold medal beating Fox Valley two sets to none in the championship game.

The CURLSASK 18U Spiel was held at the Moose Jaw Curling Centre over the weekend. Team Weiss won the U18 boys bonspiel, with Team Snow finishing second. Team Hogeboom won the girls bonspiel, with Team Wood claiming second.

Gold: Team Hack Attack
Silver: Team Rock Squad
Bronze: Team Stone Cold

Congratulations to Moose Jaw's Haily Molde as she committed to play fastball for Bismarck State and continue her education. Haily is a member of the U17AA 2-time Provincial Championship team.

The U18AA Warriors had an undefeated tournament at the Lethbridge Minor Hockey U18AA Tournament. The Tournament was held Nov. 24 through 26th, with the Warriors winning 3-1 in the final over the West Kootenay Crusaders. Defenceman Aiden MacDonald was declared the player of the game.
