Just 1:15 into last night's game, the Lethbridge Hurricanes scored the opening goal, and they only got stronger from there as they went on to a 6-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors. That's 3 straight losses for the Warriors. 

Jagger Firkus scored two goals for the Warriors while Matthew Savoie scored the other one. The Warriors are back on the ice tomorrow against the Tri-City Americans in Kennewick, Washington with puck drop at 9 p.m., and you can catch all the action on Country 100.

The Moose Jaw AAA Warriors are back in action this weekend, with a pair of away games against the Yorkton Maulers on Saturday and Sunday.

Team Saskatchewan's Skylar Ackerman went one and one at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts yesterday. The team won their morning game against Newfoundland and Labrador 9-6, but lost their evening game to British Columbia 13-4. Ackerman finished the round-robin with a 4 and 4 record and fell out of the top 3 in Pool  "A".

The NHL last night saw the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Arizona Coyotes 6-3. Auston Matthews scored two goals, giving him a league-leading 51 on the season.  The Edmonton Oilers fell to the Boston Bruins 6-5 in overtime, and the Montreal Canadiens lost 3-2 to the Buffalo Sabres.
