The Moose Jaw Warriors have a pair of home games on the schedule - they battle the Brandon Wheat Kings on Thursday, then take on the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday. Both games are at the Moose Jaw Events Centre with puck drop at 7 p.m. The Warriors are coming off a pair of wins from their weekend in Alberta. 

The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors next play the Saskatoon Contacts in an away game tonight.

In JV Boys basketball last night, the Assiniboia Rockets came out ahead of the Briercrest Christian Academy Cougars with a final score of 62-45. Top scorer on the Briercrest side was Bo Thiessen with 14 points, and on the Assiniboia side it was Radu B with 15 points. 

On the Girls' side it was BCA/CCS over Assiniboia, 60-29. Keyana Thiessen was top scorer for BCA/CSS with 16 points, and Ava Coohill was top scorer for Assiniboia with 16 points. 

The Junior Girls basketball game between Notre Dame and Lumsden saw Notre Dame come out on top - the final score was 44-38. Lumsden's top scorer was Piper Norton with 11 points, and Notre Dame's were Kiara Perrett and Natalie Harazny, netting 14 points each. 

The only Canadian team in the NHL last night didn't see a lot of success - the Calgary Flames were shutout by the New York Rangers, 2-0. 

The Toronto Raptors were similarly unsuccessful in the NBA yesterday, falling to the San Antonio Spurs 122-99.
