The Moose Jaw Warriors go from one key home-and-home weekend series to another. The Warriors are facing off against the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday at the Moose Jaw Events Centre at 7 p.m. and then they are back at it on Saturday in Medicine Hat. The Warriors sit three points back of Medicine Hat for second place in the WHL's Eastern Conference with Moose Jaw having a game in hand.

Last night, the Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors were in Saskatoon and dropped a 6-2 decision against the Blazers. The AAA Warriors wrap up four games in five nights tonight in Swift Current against the Legionnaires.

The National Lacrosse League has set a new date for the Saskatchewan Rush to face the Philadelphia Wings. The two teams were supposed to meet in Philadelphia on January 13th but the game was postponed due to weather and travel restriction. The game will now take place on Thursday, March 28, in Philadelphia.

The Moose Jaw U18 Boys high school Curling teams represented their respective schools in the first-ever high school doubles South Central district bonspiel this past weekend. When all was said and done, Blake Montgomery and Laine Burnham from Central Collegiate won the gold medal and Dayne Heisler and Riley Cushway from Peacock to won the silver medal.

Finally, in the NHL last night, there were six games on tap with two Canadian teams in action. The Winnipeg Jets lost 4-1 to the Boston Bruins and the Vancouver Canucks blanked the Chicago Blackhawks 2-0.
