This is it, the last official day of summer.  The new season arrives early Wednesday but the forecast is telling a different story.

"The forecast for September, October and November is forecasted to be above normal in most places." said Natalie Hazel with Environment Canada. Hazel says that conditions will remain relatively dry for the next seven days, helping with the harvest activities after all that rain.

Even though it's still technically summer, farmers will be looking for frost damage as we wrap up the season.  Overnight lows dipped below freezing in many areas Monday night.
