It looked good for the Moose Jaw Warriors going into the final period on Friday night but it didn't turnout exactly the way they wanted as the Tribe gave up five straight third period goals to lose 7-4 to the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Mark Stone opened the scoring for the Wheat Kings on the power play.  Jason Bast would answer right back only 13 second later with his 24th of the season.  Brayden Schenn would restore the Wheat Kings lead later on before Bast would add his second of the game to close out first period scoring.

The Warriors would do all the scoring in the second with Ryan Stanton giving the Tribe the 3-2 lead and then Corey Scott would extend the lead with his 7th of the season.

Things would then turn in favour of the Wheat Kings as they poured in five straight goals in the third period from Aaron Lewadniuk with two, Matt Calvert, Jay Fehr and Brayden Schenn putting in his second of the game giving Brandon the 7-4 win.

Devin Dubyk made 37 saves on 44 shots in the loss while James Priestner started the game but was pulled after allowing 4 goals on 15 shots.  Andrew Hayes came in and shut the door the rest of the way making 9 saves.

The Tribe was 0/3 on the power play and 5/7 on the penalty kill.

The Warriors are back in action on Sunday when the Regina Pats come to town.  You can catch all the action on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo.
