Two men have died after an accident that took place on Highway 39 near Corrine.

Milestone RCMP were called to the accident on Saturday around noon along with the Milestone Fire Department and EMS.

An investigation found two pick-up trucks collided with the drivers of both trucks being declared deceased by EMS at the scene.

One of the drivers was identified as a 76-year-old man from Midale and his family has been notified. The woman passenger in the truck was taken to the hospital with injuries RCMP are describing as serious. 

The driver and sole occupant of the other truck has been identified as a 50-year-old man from Estevan. His family has also been notified.

The Milestone RCMP is continuing to investigate with help from a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
