Two men are facing charges after a high speed chase through Moose Jaw early Sunday morning.

At around 3:30 a.m., the Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a break and enter in progress in the northwest area of the city.

Police say the suspect vehicle was located but fled the scene.

The officers activated their emergency lights in an attempt to pull over the vehicle. The vehicle fled police at a high rate of speed.

A tire deflation device was used successfully in the downtown area to end the pursuit.

A search found a loaded 12-gauge shotgun and other stolen property.

The two men face charges of break and enter, theft, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a prohibited weapon, breach of court orders and several firearm-related charges.

Both men have been remanded into custody and will make their first court appearance on Monday.

The Moose Jaw Police Service is asking the public to report any thefts from vehicles that may have occurred that night.
