Update written August 23

The Saskatchewan RCMP has released a report that the 15-year-old boy from Rosthern, Saskatchewan has been found safe. 

Update written August 22

Police believe the boy may be attempting to travel to Medicine Hat, Alberta.  The boy was possibly seen hitchhiking on Highway #11 on August 20, but could also be following the South Saskatchewan River.

It's possible he was wearing white DC shoes and a black ball cap.

A 15-year-old boy from Rosthern has gone missing and was last seen on the evening of August 18 on 10th Street.

The boy was reported missing two days later, according to a release the Rosthern RCMP sent out this afternoon.

Family describe the teen is 5’10” tall and approximately 120 lbs, with blue eyes and medium length blonde hair.

It is unknown what the boy was wearing on August 18 but he is believed to have a green army-style backpack with him.

If anyone has seen him or has information on his whereabouts, they are asked to contact their local detachment or Crime Stoppers.
