Moose Jawvians will be lining Main Street in the notorious city tonight as the Hometown Fair weekend kicks off with the annual Hometown Parade.

Parade route / Start time

The parade will start by exiting the Town 'N' Country Mall at 7:00 p.m. on Saskatchewan Street before heading south down Main Street ending at Manitoba Street.

Float rules

Your or your children may want to bring bags to collect the goodies handed out by the floats. Float participants cannot throw anything off the floats or use water pistols

Road closures

To accommodate the parade, Main Street North from Saskatchewan Street to Manitoba Street will be closed to traffic from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to allow for the parade to pass through. 

Motorists are reminded to obey all temporary signage and to use caution around barricaded areas.

Hometown Fair

The Hometown Fair itself gets underway on Friday with the midway opening at 3 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds. You can read more about the events scheduled for the Hometown Fair here.
