Three young women were arrested Sunday night in connection to a break and enter at an apartment complex on South Hill. Two residents and a police officer were apparently assaulted in the incident.

 

The local jail cells had a few residents Sunday night as three local women were arrested for an incident they were apparently involved in on Moose Jaw's South Hill.

 The three are accused of breaking into an apartment complex on the 0 block of Home Street around 10:15 Sunday night and assaulting a tenant and a caretaker. Police say when they arrived the suspects weren't too keen on going downtown and got into a tussle with the officers.

The whole incident resulted in 15 charges being laid against the three women around the age of 20, including break and enter, assault, resisting arrest, and assaulting a Peace Office.

The women will make a court appearance Monday.
