The 2007 Memorial Field Fastball playoffs got underway Tuesday.

 

The quest for a 2007 Memorial Field Fastball Championship began Tuesday night with a pair of games.

Remax upset the top seeded Canadians 9-6 to take game one.  Lee Behrns led the Remax with a home run and three RBI's.  Bart Mahalicz also drilled a round tripper for the Remax.  Tim McKaig picked up the win and Xavier Tremblay took the loss.

The Canadians and Remax return to Memorial Field Thursday for two games.

In the late game, the Jets narrowly beat the Park Hotel Giants 6-5. Kirt Blatz and Colin Folk both had a home run and two RBI's for the Jets.  Al Muhle got the win for the Jets; Dale Garthus took the loss for the Giants.

The Jets and Giants are back at Memorial Field Monday for a pair of games.
