After three straight championship finals against the Jets, the Canadians finally captured the Memorial Field Fastball title.

The Men's Memorial Field Fastball is over for another year.

The Canadians completed a series sweep of the Mortlach Jets, winning 18-7 in 6 innings Tuesday night.

It was the third straight season the two teams had met for the title, but the first time the Canadians came away victorious in those three years.

Winning pitcher Xavier Tremblay says this was their year. "We're playing more gelled as a team and our pitching was strong all year and the hitting came out when we needed it here in the end."

Tremblay struck out 7 batters and scattered 9 hits in the clinching game.
