Did you stay with some relatives over the Holiday Season?  Perhaps you had visitors at your home?

How long did you stay?  How long did THEY stay?

Serta Simmons Bedding commissioned a survey by OnePoll last month and they got responses from 2000 people and the results are interesting.

They found about 32% of people are both hosts and guests during the holidays.

Generation Z, the youngsters who are 25 and under, are most likely to host while millennials, those in the 26 to 40 age group, are among those more likely to stay over as guests.

Now, if you want to make sure you don't overstay your welcome, 49% of respondents believe four days or more as a guest is too long while those who host, 79% of them, say their guests stay four nights or less.

It's also interesting to note, when it comes to trust and privacy, 7% of those surveyed say they hide valuables when hosting and that's probably a good thing because 25% of guests admit to snooping around.
