The Moose Jaw Miller Express picked up an extra innings 16-9 road win on Thursday night against the Saskatoon Berries. 

Moose Jaw won two out of three-game series against the Berries this week. 

It was a rough start for Moose Jaw as they found themselves down 8-2 after the first inning. The Miller Express added six runs, while Saskatoon drove in one, to give the Berries a 9-8 lead after five innings. 

The Miller Express scored one in the sixth and the game remained tied 9-9 after nine to force extra innings. 

In the 10th inning, the Miller Express scored five runs to come away with the 16-9 win. 

Ethan Merk went two innings, allowing one hit and one run for the win on the mound for Moose Jaw. At the plate, Nathan Houston went four-for-five with five RBIs, while Owen Robbins went two-for-six and drove in three runs. 

The Miller Express are back in action on Friday night in Swift Current to face the 57s. They wrap up the home-and-home series with the 57s on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Ross Wells Park. They close out the weekend back in Saskatoon on Sunday afternoon to face the Berries.
