The Moose Jaw High School Football League regular season wraps up with a pair of weekend games, including a battle for first.

 

The Moose Jaw High School Football regular season comes to a close Saturday with a pair of games.

The Greenall Griffins are in Swift Current, while Central and Peacock tango at Gutheridge Field at 1pm.

The Cyclones (5-0) and Tornadoes (4-0-1) are the top two teams in the league, with Central having a two-point lead on Peacock for top spot.

Peacock's Colby Pruden leads the league in scoring with 78 points, and is ranked 1st in rushing with 757 yards (8.7 average).

Central's Bryce Warner is the leagues top receiver with 21 catches for 315 yards (15 average).   Cyclone QB Riley Brydges is the top quarterback with a 73.8% completion percentage and 613 yards.

Central won their only other meeting 9-7 back on September 11th.

The game between Swift Current and Greenall will determine third and fourth place.  Both teams are going into the game with 2-0-3 records.

League playoffs begin Saturday, October 20th with the 4th v. 5th place game.
