Wednesday the Moose Jaw Warriors captured their first win of the regular season, beating the Kootenay Ice 5-2, and snapping a five game winless streak.
They'll look to keep the momentum rolling as the open a busy weekend Friday in Prince Albert.
Friday marks the first regular season meeting between these old East Division rivals. Last year the Warriors went 3-5 against the Raiders, and were 1-3 on the road. These two teams split their home and home pre-season series.
Riley Holzpafel led Moose Jaw with 10 points against Prince Albert; Jason Bast had six points, Brad Riege had five, while Keith Voytechek and Jordan Knackstedt notched four points.
