The following moms were highlighted Monday morning on 800 CHAB, Country 100 and MIX 103. Each mom won a hanging basket from Windmill Greenhouse.

Lisa Brake was nominated by her daughter Taylor Brake.

"My mom has always been a huge supporter of my brother and I. She made sure to be at any events we had. She went through years of military postings to make sure we had a good life and got to see Canada and experience a lot of things. She would sit all day in the heat to help me with ball tournaments. Even through the tremendously tough times we have gone through she has made sure to be there for us whenever and however we needed. Every time we had a challenge or needed a hand she would step right up and not hesitate to help in any way that she can. Her laughter is infectious and stands out in a crowd.

Amanda Williams had really nice things to say about her mother-in-law, Elaine Williams.

"I sometimes feel Mother in Laws get left out on Mother's Day so I’d like to give a shout-out to mine on behalf of myself and sister in laws! We have been blessed to have a great mother-in-law! She has raised some of the best boys, and we’re forever grateful! I love spending time with her and hanging out! She is always a phone call away and willing to help with the kids when needed! I’m looking forward to spending a weekend with her in Banff! Love Amanda"

And, Sarah Gutek sent in this fantastic write-up about her mom, Dawn Gutek!

"My mom is truly my best friend! She is the most supportive and caring person I know. She has raised 3 amazing children (I may be biased) and has done so with grace and patience. She is my kayaking buddy, and my favourite person to grab coffee with throughout the week. She is about to be an empty nester in August, as I am getting married and my younger sister is heading to school in Saskatoon. She has done so much for all of us and we are so grateful to have her in our lives."
