It was a weekend of fundraisers in Moose Jaw and the weather didn't stop local events from happening.

There will two cheques dropped off this week at the Moose Jaw Health Foundation Office thanks to the generosity of local people. The Kinsmen held their First Annual Golf Tournament this weekend, in support of the health foundation's work to improve the paediatric ward. Thanks to tournament, $12,000 was raised.

On Saturday, the Mosaic Concert of Hope helped to raise nearly $280,000 for the Foundation.

And with their capes fluttering in the wind, local pet owners took to Main Street in support of the Moose Jaw Humane Society on Sunday. The 18th Annual Dog Jog started at the Town n Country Mall and then proceeded down Main Street.

The event helped to raise $1100 for the shelter.
