Megan Weiland, owner of Spike Grooming, popped by the Country 100 Morning Show to catch up with Courtney Fielder. Megan has been keeping busy as she was recently nominated and attended the WESK (Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan) Gala on May 15th, where she was a finalist for the Growth and Expansion Award. In Megan's awards video, she mentioned that she has doubled her business size and tripled her staff, and that part of the growth and success has allowed her to re-invest thousands of dollars back into our local Humane Society here in Moose Jaw. Speaking of the Humane Society, the monthly nail trim event with Spike Grooming at Pet Valu here in Moose Jaw is tonight (May 28th) from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with proceeds raised going to the Moose Jaw Humane Society. There is also a Warriors twist to the nail trim event tonight, as there will be a Warrior's backdrop photo op for pets.
