Moose Jaw Police responded to 33 calls for service.

9:13 am – 300 block 18th Ave NW – Recovered Stolen Vehicle – It was towed from the scene and will be processed by Ident.

10:14 am – 300 block Duffield St – Assist EMS –  A subject was transported to hospital by ambulance.

10:29 am – 1000 block Willow Ave – Assault – This was documented as per the wishes of the victim.  No charges were laid at this time.

11:16 am – 900 block Grandview St W – Dangerous Dog – Two dogs were reported running at large.  The complainant advised that this is an ongoing issue.  The file is under investigation to speak with the owner of the dogs.

12:58 pm – 500 block 9th Ave NW – Unwanted Guest – A subject was refusing to leave a residence but did leave upon police request.

2:17 pm – 1100 block Duffield Cr – Assist Elderly Person – An elderly person called a complainant asking for help.  The complainant requested police do a well-being check on the subject.  The subject was located and was fine – just a misdial.

4:56 pm – 400 block Athabasca St E – Recovered Stolen Vehicle – This file is still under investigation.

6:03 pm – Saskatchewan St W at Main St N – Suspicious Person – A pedestrian was reported to be in the intersection. Police attended and the subject was actually dancing in the median.  The subject was sent on his way and warned to stay off of the street.

6:57 pm – 1500 block Grandview St W – Dispute – There was a verbal dispute over a cheque.  There was a miscommunication and parties will meet up to settle the issue.

7:30 pm – 1300 block Coteau St W – Dispute – There was a verbal dispute between two adults that was mediated.  The subjects were left in the care of friends at the residence.

9:42 pm – 1000 block Vaughan St – Dispute – A verbal dispute was mediated.  Both parties agreed to cool down.

10:21 pm – 400 block Main St N – Bike Theft – A brown, burgundy, and black BMX bike with a white seat, white handle grips, and one brake on the right side was taken from outside a local business.

2:34 pm – 0 block Fairford St E – Intoxicated Person – A subject was arrested for being intoxicated in public and causing a disturbance.  They were held in police cells until sober.  The subject was also issued a ticket for having open liquor in public.

Police executed two warrants.
Police responded to one alarm call.
