The Moose Jaw Warriors face off against the Rebels in Red Deer tonight, before heading to Calgary on Saturday to battle the Hitmen. The team is currently tied for second place in the Eastern Conference with the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Last night saw the Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors fall to the Regina Pat Canadians in a 5-2 game. They have a few days to recover, before they face the Contacts in Saskatoon on Tuesday. 

In Junior Boys Basketball, Central Red dominated with a 104-30 win over Lumsden. On the Junior Girls side, it was Peacock over Lumsden, 39-34.  

The Best of the West Cheer and Dance Championship returns to the Moose Jaw Events Centre for its third year starting today, with 1600 athletes from Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba participating. 

BTN continues to lead the pack in Cash League Curling, trouncing Fountain Tire 9-1 this week, and making for 15 wins and 1 loss this season. 

The Calgary Flames were the only winning Canadian team in the NHL last night, beating the New Jersey Devils 5-3. The Vancouver Canucks were shutout by the Boston Bruins in a 4-0 game, and the Winnipeg Jets lost to the Philadelphia Flyers, 4-1. 

It's Super Bowl Sunday this weekend - the San Francisco 49ers face off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
