The Moose Jaw Warriors picked up a split over the weekend in WHL action. On Friday night, they held off a late charge by the Prince Albert Raiders to pick up a 6-4 win at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. The Warriors were on the road Saturday night in Swift Current to face the Broncos. Down 6-1 in the third period, the Warriors scored five unanswered goals. However, Josh Filmon scored the game-winner for the Broncos to make the final 7-6.

The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday night at the Hangar against the Victoria Royal. Puck drop is 7 pm and you can catch all of the action on Country 100 with the Voice of the Warriors James Gallo.

A tough weekend for the Winmar AAA Warriors. They dropped a 6-5 decision to the Saskatoon Blazers in a shootout on Saturday night and lost 3-2 to the Blazers on Sunday afternoon.

And in the NHL last night, two Canadian teams were in action. The Calgary Flames lost 4-3 to the Connor Bedard-less Chicago Blackhawks and the Winnipeg Jets won 6-2 over the Arizona Coyotes. Only one Canadian team is in action tonight as the Vancouver Canucks are in New York to face the Rangers.
