It's another key home-and-home series for the Moose Jaw Warriors this weekend. The Warriors take on the Medicine Hat Tigers tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. The Tigers then return the favour on Saturday night. The Warriors sit three points back of Medicine Hat for second place in the WHL's Eastern Conference standings. The Kubota CHL and NHL Top Prospects Game took place in Moncton last night. The Kelowna Rockets' Tij Iginla was named Team White's Player of the Game as Team Red defeated Team White 3-1. There were 18 WHL players that took part in this year's prospects game.

The Winmar AAA Warriors get a bit of a break. They are back in the friendly confines of the Moose Jaw Events Centre on Saturday as they host the Regina Pat Canadians at 7 p.m. The AAA Warriors then hit the road to Wilcox to face the Notre Dame Hounds on Sunday afternoon.

Finally, there were seven games in the NHL last night with three Canadian teams in action. Auston Matthews scored the game-winner as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Winnipeg Jets 1-0 in overtime and Brayden Schenn had the overtime winner as the St. Louis Blues toppled the Vancouver Canucks 4-3
