If you're looking for something to do on Friday night, the Moose Jaw Warriors will be back at the Hangar, as they host the Swift Current Broncos for the first time this season in their Hockey Fights Cancer game. The action gets going at 7:00 p.m. and people can bid on the Warrior's game-worn jerseys on the team's website. Friday's home game will be the last until Dec. 9 as they will embark on an eight-game road trip and will travel west to take on the BC division. 

It's a Moose Jaw WINMAR Warriors game day. The team will travel to Wilcox for the first time this season on Thursday night and take on the Notre Dame Hounds at 8:00 p.m. All the action can be found on the team's Facebook page. Coming into tonight's game, the WINMAR Warriors are in eighth place with a 5-6-0-3 record. 

It was a busy night at the Moose Jaw Curling Centre for their Wednesday night cash league. Protec Electric took down Froehlich 6-4, Fountain Tire was 10-2 winners over RK Sunview Farms, Protec Studios sneaked past Montgomery 8-7, and Kal Tire pulled out a 7-6 win over John's Music. 

Vanier and Central will be travelling to Nipawin on Friday for the 4A girl's provincial volleyball championships. Central will open the tournament against Meadow Lake at 12:00 p.m., then play Humboldt at 3:00 p.m., and then Nipawin at 6:00 p.m. Vanier begins their quest against North Battleford on Friday at 1:00 p.m., then Martensville at 3:00 p.m., and finish the day off against Lumsden at 6:00 p.m. Both teams will be in action on Saturday to finish off round-robin play. Vanier and Central will be taking part in the boys 4A boys volleyball provincials in Yorkton starting on Saturday. Vanier will play Humboldt and Melville on Saturday, while Central will play host Yorkton Sacred Heart and Lumsden. Follow along with the action here.

1A Regional Volleyball playoffs will get going on Saturday in Eyebrow. The Eyebrow/Central Butte Falcons will host five other teams with the top three teams moving on to provincials next weekend. The games get going at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and will run all day. Admission rates are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for gr. 7-12 students and children are free. A couple of Canadian NHL teams were in action on Wednesday. The Ottawa Senators outlasted the Buffalo Sabres with a 4-1 win, and the Edmonton Oilers dropped a 3-1 decision to the LA Kings on home ice. 

And just a reminder the CFL's Grey Cup goes on Sunday between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts. Kickoff for the game at Mosaic Stadium is set for 5 p.m.
