With his hot start to the WHL season, Warrior's forward Jagger Firkus made TSN's list of the top-50 NHL-affiliated players and prospects aged 23 or younger. He was ranked 48th. The Seattle Kraken prospect currently leads the Western Hockey League with 22 goals and 43 points in 21 games this season. Firkus was the only player currently in the Canadian Hockey League to make the list. The Warriors return to the ice Friday night at the Moose Jaw Events Centre hosting the Swift Current Broncos. Five Canadian teams were in action in the NHL last night. Winnipeg continued its hot streak beating Tampa Bay 3-2 in overtime, Edmonton fell 6-3 to Carolina, Nashville beat Calgary 4-2, Colorado defeated Vancouver 5-2, and Montreal beat Anaheim 4-3.

There are three NFL games on the docket today for American Thanksgiving. Detroit hosts Green Bay at 11:30 a.m., Dallas entertains Washington at 3:30 p.m., and the nightcap will see Seattle play host to San Francisco.

The Toronto Raptors won a high-scoring affair against Indiana last night, beating the Pacers 132-131.
