Two Scheduled for Local Court on Monday

It wasn't your regular Saturday afternoon in downtown Moose Jaw.

At 2:45 in the afternoon, a 2002 Pontiac Grand AM was stolen while parked in the south alley of the 0 Block High Street West.

Minutes later, In the same alley, the vehicle was then involved in an auto/pedestrian accident.

Two adult suspects fled the scene on foot.  A male and a female were apprehended a short time later. They have been charged with theft and leaving the scene of an accident. They will appear in court Monday.

The pedestrian was an elderly man, who was taken to hospital for abrasions and bruising. He was later released.
