The Moose Jaw Warriors finished off a busy weekend with a 4-0 win over Regina Sunday night.

 

The Moose Jaw Warriors wrapped up a three in three weekend Sunday night with a 4-0 win over Regina at the Civic Center, extending their winning streak to four games.

The game was scoreless going into the third, and then the Warriors lit up the scoreboard.  Jason Bast put the Warriors up 1-0 with a power play, and 20 seconds later Ryan Stanton made it 2-0 with his first WHL goal.

Back on the power play Chad Suer made it 3-0 with his first of the year.  Travis Ehrhardt capped the night with his second at the mid way point of the period.

Bast and Stanton finished the night with a goal and an assist.  Brett Ward, Jordan Knackstedt, Brad Riege, Giffen Nyren and Terrence Delaronde all picked up assists.

Joey Perricone made 25 saves to record his first shutout of the year.

The Warriors were 2/7 on the power play and 5/5 on the penalty kill, and were outshot 25-23.

Moose Jaw won all three games over the weekend, improving their record to 4-3-2.

The Warriors are off Monday and return to action on Tuesday when the host former Warrior Brennan Wray and Red Deer Rebels.
