The Moose Jaw Warriors ended their losing streak and also extended rivals the Regina Pats own losing streak with a 4-2 win Friday night. The Trans-Canada Clash was heated Friday night as both the Moose Jaw Warriors and Regina Pats were looking to end their respective losing streaks.  The Warriors were able to hold on for the 4-2 win.

Both teams battled throughout the first period looking for an edge over each other but it would remain scoreless through the first.

In the second period the Warriors took control early when Quinton Howden broke in and put his 10th of the season passed Pats netminder Derek Tendler.  Cody Smuk would make it 2-0 for the Tribe when he managed a shorthanded goal.  Bast would put the Warriors up another with just over four minutes to play in the second.  The Pats would get two back though before the period was out with goals from Brett Leffler and Jordan Eberle. 

The game when back and forth for much of the third with the Pats desperately looking for that tieing goal but it wasn't to be as Martin Filo would ice it for the Warriors with a shorthanded goal making to a 4-2 Warrior win.

Jeff Bosch stopped 24 of 26 shots for the win.  At the other end Tendler stopped 25 in the loss.

The Warriors were 0/8 on the powerplay but 5/5 on the penalty kill.
