Team Cherry skated to a 7-4 win over Team Orr in the 2018 CHL Top Prospects Game on Thursday night in Guelph, ON.

Former Moose Jaw Warriors forward Luka Burzan, now a member of the Brandon Wheat Kings, finished with an assist in the loss for Team Orr, which was led by NHL Hall of Fame inductee Eric Lindros.

Cole Fonstad, a Moose Jaw General alum and current Prince Albert Raider, registered a goal for Team Orr as well.

London Knights defenceman Evan Bouchard led the charge for Team Cherry in the win with four assists, while Flint Firebirds forward Ty Dellandrea, Owen Sound Attack centre Aidan Dudas and Halifax Mooseheads forward Filip Zadina all scored twice.

The Don Cherry coached team scored the first five goals of the game, including a pair late in the first period by Dellandrea. Team Cherry led 7-2 by the end of the second period and cruised to the win.

Warriors defenceman Jett Woo was scheduled to take part in the game, but had to pull out this week due to an injury.
